Functions and Purpose of NZAMI
The New Zealand Association for Migration and Investment (NZAMI), founded in 1989, is an incorporated non-profit making association, governed by a Board of Directors. The purpose of the NZAMI is to promote the long-term benefits of migration and investment programmes in New Zealand. The Association comprises migration consultants, legal and accounting practices, finance houses, real estate companies, business investment advisors and local government authorities. Membership of NZAMI is voluntary and all members must conduct their affairs in a professional manner, in accordance with the Association’s objectives, rules and code of ethics.
The NZAMI Board of Directors is elected annually in July at the Annual General Meeting.
There are twelve Board members, including the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary.
The Board meets every six weeks and sets the objectives, policies and programmes of the Association.
